Marharyta has only been in Ottawa for a month, after fleeing the war in Ukraine, but is already preparing for her artistic career in her new home. Originally from the Poltava region, Marharyta has been singing and performing on stage since early childhood. Her mother, Olena, is a music teacher, who trained young Marharyta and instilled in her a love for music. The Capital Ukrainian Festival is thrilled to welcome her to our stage.
