The St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Shrine Choir has been in existence for forty two years.
The role of Choir continues to be the learning and singing of the responses to Liturgies on Sundays and Feast Days and traditional hymns making use of choral arrangements by a number of popular Ukrainian liturgical composers including Dmytro Bortnianskyj, Oleksander Koshetz, Myron Fedodoriw, Kyrylo Stetsenko and others. Members of the choir share a love of and commitment to living and preserving the beautiful Ukrainian tradition of the sung choral liturgy.
